ESS CEO Sheila Benson has been chosen to participate in the 2017-2018 Alabama Leadership Initiative Program that will be held November 2-3, 2017 in Montgomery Alabama, April 19-20, 2018 in Birmingham Alabama, and June 22-24, 2018 in various locations across the state.
“It is an honor for our CEO to have been chosen for the Alabama Leadership Initiative Program. Here at ESS, we strive to create a learning and philanthropic environment. Shelia’s opportunity to participate in this program reflects her efforts of giving back to the community,” stated ESS Vice President of Marketing Brandt LaPish.
The Leadership initiative program consists of four two and one-half day retreats over a nine-month period that focuses on knowledge as the key element and prime motivator of leadership. The program seeks individuals most likely to utilize their leadership abilities for the long-term benefit of Alabama and those committed to making Alabama a better place to live and prosper. During these retreats, class members will visit communities across the state to seek mutual understanding of the problems and priorities facing the state, and invent vital solutions for the challenges that define the future of Alabama.
