ESS would like to congratulate our very own Sheila Benson who, in February, received the “Changing the Face of Leadership” Award at the Winter Summit for Leading Edge Institute.
Leading Edge Institute is a dynamic leadership program dedicated to working with college women across the state of Alabama.
The topic of the Winter Summit was “changing the face of leadership in Alabama.” Benson spoke to the group about how she became the leader she is and why she sees the development of young female leaders as important. Her audience was comprised of the Leading Edge Institute students, their advisors and other professionals from the area.
